The training series teaches students how to make an impact investment in an early stage social enterprise and prepare them for the MIINT competition. The series contains several 2-3 hour intensive workshops, developed in collaboration with Sloan Finance Department and the Sustainability Initiative. Industry guest speakers will also be invited to have the practitioners’ perspective and insights.

- Overview on impact investing: direct investment in VC/PE, Public market investing with positive and negative screens etc.
- Key steps of making an impact investment: defining your investment thesis, sourcing social ventures, conducting due diligence, financial modeling / returns analysis, defining deal terms, writing an investment memo, and presenting to the investment committee
- Career in impact investing: What are the possible career paths and skills needed to succeed
