Faina Rozental
Co-President 
Faina is a 2019 Sloan MBA candidate pursuing both the Finance and Sustainability Certificates. Prior to Sloan, Faina managed social due diligence at Root Capital, a nonprofit impact investment fund that works to unlock growth opportunities for small agricultural businesses in Latin America and Africa. Before Root Capital, Faina was the Sales and Training Officer for the OECD’s proprietary research platform in North America. Faina graduated from Boston University with a Master’s in Economics and a Bachelor’s in Economics and International Relations. This summer, Faina was a Summer Associate in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs.
 
Derek DeAndrade
Co-President
Derek is a CFA Charterholder and 2019 MBA candidate at MIT Sloan who is also pursuing a Sustainability Certificate. Derek has six years of experience in financial services including four years at Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM) in Boston. As a Senior Investment Analyst at OMAM, Derek analyzed investment performance and portfolio construction of OMAM’s affiliate companies, worked in conjunction with the M&A team to identify and assess acquisition targets and developed product strategy at OMAM’s various investment boutiques spanning public equity, private equity, fixed income, real estate and timberland asset classes.
 
Lydia Li
Vice President, MIINT Competition
Lydia is a 2019 Sloan MBA candidate pursuing both the Finance Track and Sustainability Certificate. Prior to Sloan, Lydia worked in investment banking and private equity, focused on the energy sector. This summer, Lydia was a Venture Capital Summer Associate with Applied Ventures, where she managed sourcing, due diligence and execution on early-stage deep-tech investments. She has a strong passion in cleantech and environmental impact investing. Lydia attended Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA, where she received a B.A. in Government and Economics.
 
Mark Adams
Vice President, Student Engagement
Mark is a 2019 Sloan MBA candidate and a Fellow at the MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship. He has 6 years of experience in fintech, agriculture and microfinance, designing and delivering financial services in emerging markets such as Kenya, Zambia and Ethiopia. He graduated from Tufts University with BAs in Economic Development and French. This summer he worked on payments innovation and product management at Mastercard. He was a member of the Mi3 team that won Best Diligence at the 2018 National MIINT Competition.
 
Jennifer Lien

Jenn is a 2019 Sloan MBA candidate with 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, most recently as a managing associate at Next Street, a boutique advisory firm that finds and grows impact businesses.
